Staff Correspondent, Bogra | April 24, 2026​RAB-12 has arrested Md. Harun (50), the prime accused in the sensational Rocky murder case in Shahjahanpur, Bogra. He was apprehended from the Kichak area of Shibganj Upazila within just 24 hours of the incident.​The arrestee, Harun, is the son of the late Khayer Pramanik, a resident of the Gandagram (Nutanpara) area in Shahjahanpur Upazila.​According to RAB sources, Harun went into hiding immediately after the murder to evade arrest. Acting on a tip-off, the RAB-12 Bogra camp learned that Harun was taking refuge at the residence of his niece’s husband, Mohammad Arif Hossain, in the Kichak area of Shibganj.​Following the directives of the RAB-12 Commanding Officer, a special operation was conducted at the residence on Friday (April 24) at approximately 2:30 AM. During the raid, RAB members successfully caught Harun red-handed while he was in hiding.​RAB-12 stated that the Rocky murder has caused a significant stir in the locality. RAB initiated an immediate manhunt following the filing of the case, leading to the swift arrest of the prime accused.​"There is no scope to get away after committing a crime. Our operations are ongoing to apprehend the remaining suspects in this sensational murder case," a RAB official remarked.​RAB confirmed that the process of handing over the arrested accused to the concerned police station is currently underway.
